Itinerary - 01
8 nights 9 days Darjeeling - Sikkim tour
Day 01:
Arrive Darjeeling: Kathmandu/ Biratnagar or Bhadrapure, Meet our Sikkim
representative in the Airport and Transfer to Darjeelijng. Overnight at
Hotel Seven Seventeen or similar on standard.
Day 02 : Darjeeling: Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at 4 am) to
view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather) and Batasia
Loop & Ghoom Monastery. Afternoon visit to Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda,
Lalkothi, Dhirdham Temple, Ava Art Gallery and Natural History Museum.
Overnight at Hotel Seven Seventeen.
Day 03 : Darjeeling: Today, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological
park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Rope way Tenzing & Gomba Rock,
Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Estate and Labong Race Course.
Overnight at Hotel Seven Seventeen.
Day 04 : Darjeeling – Gangtok: Transfer to Gangtok (after
breakfast,98 kms / 04 hrs). Overnight at Hotel Golden Pagoda.
Day 05 : Gangtok: Take an excursion to Tshangu Lake (12000 ft. 35 kms
/ 02 hrs). Overnight at Hotel Golden Pagoda.
Day 06 : Gangtok: Go for a day sightseeing covering Directorarte of
Handicraft & Handsome, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology,
Chorten, Rumtek Monastery and orchid sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel Golden
Pagoda.
Day 07 : Gangtok – Kalimpong: Transfer to Kalimpong (after breakfast,
81 kms /03 hrs). Check-in at Hotel .Take a leisure walk thorough a Hilly
town. Overnight at Park Hotel.
Day 08 :Kalimpong: Here you do the sightseeing of Dello Hills,
Dr. Graham & resquo Home, Glower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang,
Gouripur House and Durbin Dara Hills. Overnight at Hotel Park
Day 09 : Leave Kalimpong: Transfer to the point for your onward
connection (after breakfast).

Day 01 Fly Kathmandu / Bhadrapur (1 hr) - scenic drive to Gantok (3-4 hr.) – hotel
Day 02 Full day sightseeing in Gantok with Rumtek monastery – hotel
Day 03 Excursion tour to Phoning monastery (38 km in north Sikkim)
Day 04 Scenic drive to Pemayangtse monastery via beautiful temi tea estate (west Sikkim) – hotel
Day 05 Scenic drive to Darjeeling. PM: sightseeing in Darjeeling – hotel
Day 06 Visit Ghoom monastery, on the way back enjoy a short ride on the famous Darjeeling toy train-hotel
Day 07 Picturesque drive to Bagdogra to fly to onward destination or to Bhadrapur to Fly back to Kathmandu-transfer to your hotel.
